Before maintenance, define critical loads, the existing single-line diagram, transfer windows and permissible interruption. Assess interfaces between temporary generation, UPS and the grid.
Combine medium- or low-voltage generators, power trucks, transformers, ring main units and cables. Size the system against starting loads and protection coordination.
Agree transfer procedures, grounding, commissioning tests and contingency plans before work. Continuity capability depends on the confirmed engineering design and testing.
